not used to getting calls from a man!
So, in my last article, I documented my Friday night with the cop. He has called me every day since then, multiple times. Last night, he was "in my hood" so he asked if he could stop by. I wasn't doing anything (Sopranos was over for the evening and I was reeling at the fact that Adriana got whacked), so I said sure. He came over and immediately started to try to make out with me. We made out for a little while, but it started going too far. So, I stopped him and explained to him that I am just not ready for a physical relationship right now and that I would rather just hang out for now, go out, have fun, and see what happens from there. He was not too happy about this and I could tell. He stayed for about 5 more minutes and then left. I kept asking him if he was mad, but he said he wasn't. He said he understood where I was coming from. So today, I am at my office, and he calls my cell twice. I wasn't around to hear the phone, but I called him back about an hour or so later. He called to apologize about his behavior and that he totally understands where I am coming from. He told me that he finds me very attractive and he agrees that its best to see what happens from here.
I was very surprised that he didn't play the normal game, you know the three day rule, acting all casual and nonchalant about things. The attention is very strange. But it certainly makes me feel special. And the girls tonight told me that its important for the guy to pursue actively to get the girls attention, not the other way around. They are right.
I had drinks with A1 and A2 tonight and the rest of the girls. A2 asked if the handsome stranger who I have written off called. I informed her that, no, he did not and at this point, if he did, I wouldn't even answer his call. She was pretty ticked at his behavior and said he is "normally a nice guy" and she was going to tell him that it was messed up what he did. I told her it really wasn't necessary, but she can do whatever she wants. Its her friend.
