Well, now mid-week has passed. No call. Forget this handsome stranger...he isn't even worth my time! Saw A2 tonight, the mutual friend. She actually saw him before the girls night dinner plans driving home. She said he pulled over and said hi and then went on his way. I told her he hasn't called, she didn't act surprised. I pried a little and asked if he was even remotely interested. She said that he was, but that he wasn't looking for a relationship or anything. Well...duh. Me either!!!! This has to be the most ridiculous predicament I have been in for a while. Why call on Thursday to make "plans" to grab a drink, and then just never call again, though you say you will call "early in the week"? I mean, come on people! I am especially fragile right now (not that he has to know that) and its so damn disappointing. I wasn't looking for a relationship, a boyfriend, a husband...none of that crap. I was looking just to go out and have a great time with who I thought was a cool guy. The game sucks. I would rather sit at home and watch law and order repeats eating ben and jerrys out of the pint container than go through this!

I was already in a poor mood today because of DC government nonsense. Ok, I move to the district in early May. I have an out of state tagged car. I know that I have 30 days to change my tags over. I am not a moron or anything. I can read, you know. This morning, I got a pleasant hot pink warning ticket regarding my out of state tags and a notice that I have 15 days to change my tags or get tickets/fines/impounded. Again, duh. But the warning ticket was just ridiculous. Its not like I have been living here in months. I don't understand why they have to give these warnings out when babies are getting shot dead in the streets here. Hell, three blocks away two men stole a 300 POUND ATM MACHINE and walked it down the road. I'm glad to see that my out of state tags are such a pressing issue.

It looks like lonely hearts are getting together Friday night instead this week. A1 had plans with the parents on Saturday night. We are going to celebrate my passing my test on Saturday...its going to be fun, I hope.
